The first issue of PWC was published in February2005 following a great need amongst window cleaners for more and better information about their trade. Window cleaning as a business was (and still is) changing in fundamental ways.

Water-fed pole systems were rapidly overtaking ladders as the preferred method, and new laws were about to come into force that severely restricted work at height. PWC was created to help inform window cleaners about these and other issues that affect them.

Quite unlike anything that had previously been available, the magazine quickly gained a popular following. Rather unexpectedly, demand for PWC not just in the UK, but overseas was very strong.

Professional Window Cleaner Magazine is sponsored by The British Window Cleaning Academy, and is the only widely distributed UK trade journal dedicated to the window cleaning industry.

PWC has a circulation of approximately 12,000 in the UK, and distribution grows annually at about 7%
